Porlezza

It is a 15 min walking distance (1km) from the camping to the center of the Porlezza

Porlezza is a comune (municipality) on Lake Lugano in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Milan and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Como.

Lugano city

It’s 20 min driving distance (17 km) from the camping to the center of Lugano city.

Lugano Ticinese is a city and municipality in Switzerland, part of the Lugano District in the canton of Ticino. It is the largest city of both Ticino and the Italian-speaking southern Switzerland. 

Balcony of Italy

It’s 40 min driving distance (24km) to the observation point

The Belvedere della Sighignola in the Province of Como is called the Balcony of Italy and from here you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Alps. The Sighignola is a mountain of the Lugano Prealps, 1320 meters high that is located on the Italian – Swiss border.

Menaggio

It’s 20 min driving distance (13km) from the camping to the Menaggio. It’s also an option to bike this way.

Menaggio is a great starting point to discover Lake Como and the mountains that surround it. 

Villa del Balbianello

It’s a 30 min driving distance (21km) from the camping to the villa.

Villa del Balbianello will leave you breathless, thanks to its beautiful terraced gardens and picturesque structure.  Located on the tip of the promontory of Lavedo, in Lenno (a hamlet of Tremezzina), the villa offers breathtaking views of Isola Comacina and the western shore of Lake Como. The villa is now a venue for private events such as weddings, ceremonies and even film or photographic sets (this is where scenes from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Casino Royale were filmed).

Villa Carlotta 

It’s a 20 min driving distance (16,5 km) from the camping to the villa.

Villa Carlotta safeguards and promotes a unique historical, artistic and botanical heritage on Lake Como, making it available for all to experience.

Built at the end of the seventeenth century by the marquises Clerici of Milan, the villa tells the story of over three centuries of great collections, and each year also opens the gates of a fascinating botanical garden that draw thousands of visitors from all over the world.
