The children friendly campsite is located directly at lake Lugano with a long stretching beach almost all the way to the picturesque Porlezza. In easy walking distance.
The campsite is visited by many nationalities, Dutch, Swiss, Germans and Italians which makes it a pleasant cultural mix.
The lake is refreshing in the hot summers for a nice swim, but stand up paddling is upcoming as a new water-sport. Next to the campsite is the local surfschool where you can take lessons or rent the boards or sailboats.
Facilities
The campsite has about 1000 chalets and offers many facilities including:
- Pool paradise with 2 pools, a children’s pool and 3 slides (open from the beginning of June to the beginning of September)
- Private beach with stunning views over the mountains
- Italian restaurant/pizzeria with delicious pizzas and pasta
